800website is a Dubai web design agency. Professional services sites share a structure, and legal is the strictest version of it. This is website guidance, not legal or regulatory advice.
What does a law firm website need in the UAE?
Five things: named lawyers with qualifications and admissions, a page per practice area, clarity about which jurisdictions you practise in, Arabic alongside English, and licensing details.
Jurisdictional clarity is the UAE-specific one and it is frequently missing. A client needs to know immediately whether you handle DIFC, ADGM, onshore UAE, or some combination, and which of your lawyers is admitted where. A firm that leaves this vague loses enquiries from people who cannot tell whether they are in the right place.
Named lawyers matter for the same reason they matter in medicine and finance: the client is choosing a person. Qualifications, admissions, languages spoken and years in practice do more work than any design element.
Why one page per practice area?
Because clients search for their problem, not for “law firm Dubai”. Employment disputes, commercial arbitration, family law, corporate structuring and property conveyancing are entirely different searches from different people in different situations.
One page listing all practice areas ranks for none of them and speaks to none of them. Each area needs a page explaining what it covers, what the process looks like, and who at the firm handles it.
This puts most firms on the AED 6,999 Premium package — ten-plus pages with English and Arabic — rather than the six-page Business tier.
What legal pages does the website itself need?
Ironically the sector most likely to advise clients on this is often missing them. Every UAE website should publish:
- Privacy policy — required in practice if you collect any personal data, which a contact form does.
- Terms of use for the website itself.
- A disclaimer that site content is general information and not legal advice, and that no lawyer-client relationship arises from contact.
- Cookie notice if you run analytics or advertising cookies.
Link them in the footer so they appear sitewide, and publish the firm’s licensing details alongside.
What tone works for legal?
Plain language about complex things. The firms that convert best are the ones that explain a process clearly — what happens, in what order, roughly how long, and what it depends on — rather than demonstrating expertise through density.
Avoid outcome claims and anything resembling a guarantee. Beyond the regulatory exposure, sophisticated clients read them as a signal of inexperience.
Publish what you can about fees, even as a structure rather than a number. In a market where almost no firm does, it is a genuine differentiator.
